I really like the newer side of the building, but the white side could stand to be knocked down. It is one of the three abandoned high rises I'm sick of looking at! The newer side seems to be good-structurally but I wonder if it has the same ceiling height and crawl space issues that Days Inn has? Those buildings seem to be stuck as hotels eventhough Days in was sold a month ago. I'm wondering if downtown already has enough hotel rooms and is why they stay vacant, but why not tear them down and build something useful. They did it to Montagu and it was never vacant!
